XtalPi has advanced a proprietary hair loss drug candidate into IND-enabling studies that targets a lactate-autophagy pathway to reactivate quiescent hair follicle stem cells. In mouse models, the candidate demonstrated hair-growth efficacy comparable to 5% topical minoxidil at 1/100 of the concentration.
